"All is Vanity": Solomon's Spiritual
Warfare is a spiritual production, that tells the story of Solomon's thoughts about his life experiences. After
Solomon built the temple as his father King David requested and was instructed by God, Solomon seemed to be lost in the pursuit
of life. Granted, Solomon was considered one of the wisest men talked about in the Bible, he still
struggled with what was most important in life. He studied other gods, tribes,
and religions. He sought after pleasure with drinking, money, sexual temptation, and idol worship. He fell deeply in love
with Queen Sheba, but became depressed after she return to her native home. After experiencing all these
events, he concluded "All is Vanity". Sooner or later he would die so of what
value was anything he did in life? In the end, he realizes at his death that life is about serving God and worshipping Him
with all your heart. That God is truly one God and that there should be no other gods before Him. We
should "Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man."
